Dental SEO: How OClinic Started Winning Patients From Google and ChatGPT

OClinic had a five-page, English-only website and an unoptimised Google Business Profile, with almost no visibility for the patients searching for it. We rebuilt the site, launched a full Arabic version, and optimised its Google Business Profile. Total tracked conversions grew from 5 to 31, including real patient leads now coming directly from ChatGPT.

The starting point: five pages and an unoptimised profile

OClinic came to us with a website that had fewer than five pages, all in English, describing the clinic in general terms without a single page built around what a patient actually searches for: a specific treatment, a specific concern, or the clinic's location in New Cairo. The Google Business Profile existed but was not optimised, so even patients searching directly for a nearby dentist were not reliably finding the clinic.

That combination, thin content and an under-used local listing, is common for clinics that have never had a proper SEO engagement. The practice itself was solid. The website simply was not built to be found.

What we did

1

Rebuilt a five-page site into a real content architecture

OClinic's site had fewer than five pages and nothing built around what patients actually search for. We restructured it around the clinic's core treatments and services, giving each one its own page instead of a single catch-all 'Services' page competing with itself.

2

Launched a full Arabic version for New Cairo's Arabic-first searchers

The site was English-only, in a market where most patients search in Arabic. We built a genuine Arabic version alongside the improved English site, not a thin translation layer, so the clinic could be found in the language its patients actually use.

3

Optimised and verified the Google Business Profile

The clinic's Google Business Profile was unoptimised and doing little to drive calls. We cleaned up categories, services, and information, and kept it active, which is what took call clicks from the profile from 1 to 10 in the period measured.

4

Improved and expanded the clinic's existing English content

Beyond new pages, we rewrote and expanded the existing English content so it actually answered patient questions instead of reading like a brochure, improving both rankings and time on page.

5

Tracked AI referral traffic to prove where patients were actually coming from

We set up AI traffic tracking from day one. That is what surfaced something most clinics never see: ChatGPT was already referring real visitors who called and messaged the clinic directly, not just generic traffic.

The results: from April to July 2026

Using April 2026, roughly a month into the engagement, as the baseline and July 2026 as the latest full month, the growth shows up everywhere: in organic search, in Search Console visibility, and in the calls and messages the clinic actually receives.

One number moved the “wrong” way on the surface: Search Console's average position went from 5.3 to 8.1. That is not a red flag, it is a side effect of ranking for dozens of new terms the site never appeared for at all. Average position naturally dips as visibility broadens across more queries, while the metrics that actually matter, clicks, impressions, and enquiries, all moved up.

Why it worked

None of this came from generic SEO advice. It came from treating the clinic's website like a real patient acquisition channel: real content architecture, a real Arabic version, and a Google Business Profile that actually works for you. That is the same standard behind every engagement at Rawaj, the SEO agency in Sharjah now bringing this exact playbook to healthcare and medical practices through our Medical SEO service in Sharjah.

If your practice is invisible the same way OClinic's was, the fix is rarely more content for its own sake. It is real architecture, a real local presence, and knowing exactly where your patients are actually coming from.
